It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Malek R. Gautreaux (Norwich, Connecticut), who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Malek leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his parents, Ramon Gautreaux and Christine Gautreaux; his brother-in-law Sean; and his nieces, Olivia, Evelyn and Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was also fortunate enough to have his wish granted by the Make a Wish Foundation to Leaning Birch Equestrian Center in Ledyard, CT.
