Margaret Tumicki Obituary
In loving memory of Margaret Tumicki (Norwich, Connecticut), who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Margaret leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Thorp and Alice Thorp (Plante); her nephew William T. Thorp; her son-in-law Ernie Gwaltney; and her stepgranddaughter Amanda Pugliese.
She is survived by: her brother William C. Thorp (Rose); her children, Steven Tumicki (Carol), Christopher Tumicki (Erin), Suzanne Harle, Sarah Tumicki (William Cronin), Marti Gwaltney and Rebecca Tumicki; her stepgrandson Trenton Wright III; and her stepgreat-grandson Nolan Pugliese. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Norwich (815 Boswell Ave, Norwich, CT 06360). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (82 W Town St, Norwich, CT 06360).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Norwich Women's City Club.
