We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 80, Mary Doherty Dewey of Norwich, Connecticut, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Doherty Dewey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward G. Doherty and Eleanor V. Doherty (Burke); her former husbands, Richard Etlinger and Maxime Sicord; her daughter Lori K. Martins; and her brother Edward P Doherty.

She is survived by : her husband James F. Dewey; her children, Shawn Etlinger (Celeste), Shannon Etlinger Baker (William) and Tara Dykens (Michael); her son-in-law Kely Martins; her grandchildren, Tonya Martz (Elias), Elizabeth Baker, Patrick Baker, Anna Baker, Daniel Baker, Mary Baker, Kerry Dykens, Lindsey Dykens, Melanie Martins (Ryan Ayotte), Lucas Martins and Antonio Martins; and her great grandchildren, Lilah Martz, Arabella Martz and Ann Hobday. She is also survived by her family and friends.

A funeral mass was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (52 W Town St, Norwich, CT 06360).
