It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Edgar of Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Peter departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Peter. Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Malcolm "Cal" Shepherd and Mary Knoll Edgar; his children, Susan Lindeman Edgar (Casey Webb), Georgiana Belknap and William Shepherd; his brother Michael Edgar; his sister-in-law Amy of Norwich, Connecticut; and his brother David Edgar (Shawn) of Tucson, Arizona. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephew.
