It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard James Watson Jr. (Norwich, Connecticut), born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Watson and Ruth Watson (McNaught); and his sister Sharon Sanquedolce. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Greg Watson (Marisa) and Laurie McBride (John Lanza) of Mystic; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Michael, Nicholas, Victoria, Mark and Daniel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
