It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita E. Brown of Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita E. Brown to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powell and Josephine Powell (Gaudette); her husband Robert C. Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, William, Rose, Mary, Mildred, Anna, Theresa, Wendy, Margaret and Betty.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Roberts, Robert C. Brown, Jr., Jean C. Courter, Guy W. Brown, Donald F. Brown and Isabella M. Kinney. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
