He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen and Violet Allen (Clark); his former wife Joanne Jakobek; his sister Nancy Nelligan; and his stepson James Clang.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert J. Allen (Norwich) and William C. Allen of Colchester; his stepchildren, Chris Clang and Mary Clang of Boston; and his granddaughters, Lauren and Ava Allen of Norwich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
