He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Babcock (Gilmour); his parents, William Babcock and Frances Babcock; his son Craig; and his brothers, William and David.
He is survived by: his children, Robert, Jr., Bruce and Melissa (David); his daughter-in-law Pam J.; and his siblings, Clinton (Patty) and Dottie. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home (11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville, CT 06382). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Episcopal Church (Route 2-A, Preston, CT). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
