He was predeceased by: his stepfather Melvin Avery Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Avery of Colchester; his siblings, Kathryn, Richard of Waterford, CT, Michael Bourgoin of Waterford, CT, Julie Bourgoin of Groton, CT, Melinda Muenzner (Stefan) of Colchester, CT and Melvin Avery Jr. (Cathy) of South Pasadena, FL.; his father Roland Bourgoin; his stepmother Rhoda of Orange City, FL; and his stepsisters, April Bragg (William) of Rock Hill, SC and Robin Longtin (Steve) of Bolton, CT. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
