It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Etra (Norwich, Connecticut), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her spouse Cantor Melvin Etra; her parents, Max Reiss and Yetta Reiss (Honig); and her son Dr. Joel Etra. She is survived by : her daughter Tama Etra (Aaron Zinner); her daughter-in-law Roslyn Etra; her grandchildren, Dori Etra Clarke (Mathew), Dr. Beth Etra (Jonathan Adler), Joseph Blauberg (Robin) and Rachel Blauberg; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Hailey, Mathew, Ezra, Eliana and Luna Tzeporah.
