It is with sadness that the passing of Thomas Anthony Slaga of Norwich, Connecticut is shared. Thomas, born on August 26, 1942, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Thomas will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Thomas by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Thomas is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Thomas’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Slaga and Margaret Slaga of Norwich; and his sister Ann Marie Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, David (Chad) of Massachusetts and Susan Metivier (Jonathan) of Rocky Hill; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Podurgiel of Norwich, Frank Russo (Nancy) of Norwich and Michael Matthews of Windham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (52 W Town St, Norwich, CT 06360).
