It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Shaw of Oakdale, Connecticut, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Ervin Royal and Irma Louise Knapp; her husband LeRoy Raymond Shaw Sr.; and her siblings, Robert, Gregory Royal, Norma Keown, Donna Cyr and Sally Horten.
She is survived by: her children, LeRoy Raymond Shaw Jr. (Allan Howard), Brenda Jean Kelly (Donald Kelly), Jean Marie Shaw and Joan Marie Kovalik (Alfred Kovalik); her grandchildren, Amy Parker, Michael Kelly, Tiffany Hewitt, Jill Drobiak, Jennifer LaVigne, Timothy Gray, Samantha Willard and Toni Costanzo; and her siblings, Paulette Shoemaker and Jeffery Royal. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
