She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gilmour and Della Fulton; her daughter Katherine Fallon (Hood); her husbands, James N. Ryan and Donald W. Hood Jr.; and her siblings, Samuel Gilmour, Patricia Hickman, Edna Klindt (Midge), Barbara Francois and Margaret Gjovick.
She is survived by: her children, Donald W. Hood III, Shawn Ryan, Roark Ryan and Shannon Ryan (Randy Jackson); her grandchildren, Ross Meyer (Melissa), Patrick Ryan (Brianna), Kelsey Ryan, Kaitlyn Ryan, Meghan Ryan (Julian), Roark C. Ryan, Randall A. Jackson, Patrick Jackson and Jennifer Faraci (Steven); and her friend Montville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home (11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville, CT 06382). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Church (22 Maple Ave, Uncasville, CT 06382).
