She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pearson and Mattie Pearson; her husband Eddie Clifton Mullen Sr.; her siblings, Robert Pearson and Ethel Mae Montgomery; her granddaughter Camille Mullen; and her son-in-law Charles Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie C. Mullen Jr., Natalie Mullen Daniels and Shari Mullen Bumpers (Harvey); her grandchildren, Courtney Grande (Ryan), Haley Atkinson (Scott), Tiffany Stevenson (Adrian) and Caleb Bumpers; her great grandchildren, Ford, Hollis, Colin, Juliana, Addison and Aiden; and her brother Haywood Kelly Pearson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mount Olive AME Zion Church, designating support to the Building Fund, to honor Dorothea's memory and to support their passion for advancing the Kingdom of God.
