It is with sadness that the passing of Garrett J. Stack of Oakville, Connecticut is shared. Garrett, born on January 4, 1938, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Garrett will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Garrett by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Garrett is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Garrett’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Garrett "Gary" J. Stack; his wife Marilyn; and his parents, Timothy J. Stack and Margaret Stack (Hill). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Miller, Joseph Stack and Richard Stack. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as extended family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (145 Buckingham St, Oakville, CT 06779).
