It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Blake Jr. of Oakville, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, Connecticut, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blake and Hanora Blake (Maquire); his siblings, Elizabeth Blake (Robert Blake), Patricia (Bernie Cregg), Daniel (Joan Blake), Kevin (Christina Blake) and Regina (Angelo Guastaferro); and his brothers-in-law, Joe D'Amico, Bill Rath, John Catsoris and William Catsoris.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Judy Blake, III), Anthony (Magda Blake), Kenneth (Karen Blake) and Catherine Blake of Oakville, CT.; his sisters, Miriam Blake, Eileen D'Amico and Barbara Rath; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Catsoris, Agnes Catsoris and Rosemary Blake. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
