He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Curtiss and Ethel Curtiss (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Curtiss (Turschmann); his children, Rychard Curtiss (Kathy), Wendy Johns (Jeff) and Bonnie Schoening (Brian); his grandson Elijah Schoening; and his sister Lois Hummel (Paul).
