He was predeceased by : his wife Janice Schultz; and his parents, William and Diane Schultz (Hunter). He is survived by : his sons, Jonathan (Shelley) of Oakville and Robert (Michelle) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Amanda Schultz of California, Kristina Tighe (Zachary) of Bristol, Corey Schultz (Jordan) of New Haven and Kaitlyn Schultz of South Carolina; and his great grandchild Brayden Tighe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Roy's name to Union Congregational Church, 167 Buckingham St, Oakville CT 06779.
