With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Salvator A Finelli of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Salvator may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Polcini and Joseph Finelli; and his siblings, Louise Molassi, Lillian Finelli, Damon Finelli and Dr. Alphonse Finelli.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurinda Finelli of Old Greenwich, CT and Kathryn Finelli of Pound Ridge, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
