Anthony V. Schiavone Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 27, 2026, at the age of 81, Anthony V. Schiavone of Old Lyme, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Attilio L. Schiavone and Constantina R. Schiavone Jr. (Santos); his brother Attilio III (Terry); his in-laws, Domenico and Maria Lagana; his siblings-in-law, Gino Lagana, Benito Santini and Joyce Lagana; and his nephew Jeffrey Schiavone.
He is survived by: his significant other Paula Lagana; his children, Anthony Jr. of Middletown, Tina-Marie Ammirata (Adam) of Burlington and Tammy of Newington; his grandchildren, Adam, Alena Ammirata, Bryce and Reagan Mayo; his brother Daniel; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Schiavone, Teresa Santini and Santo Lagana (Tina). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
During COVID, he spearheaded fundraising efforts for the chapter to feed essential workers and help the food bank support community members.
