The memory of Richard Barry in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, born in East Lyme, Connecticut, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Barry; his siblings, Joseph Barry and Kathy Vargas; his daughters, Sylvie Murphy (Raymond) and Claudine Barry; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Giangrande, Matthew Murphy, Gabrielle and Katherine Giangrande.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westbrook Lodge of Elks (142 Seaside Ave, Westbrook, CT 06498).
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of the donors choice.
