The memory of Robert Thomas Riley of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, who passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Riley and Edna Riley (Smith); and his stepdaughter Kimberly McGee. He is survived by: his wife Murielle McGee Riley; his children, Michael Riley of Chester and Patricia Riley of Old Saybrook; his grandchildren, Ashley Riley of Cromwell and Trevor Lytle of Foster; and his sister Leight Riley of Westbrook.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409). The military honors will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Old Saybrook Ambulance Association, 316 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
