With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Foote Moritz (Orange, Connecticut), born in Summit, New Jersey, who passed away on October 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Barbara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Barbara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy King Foote and J. Howard Foote. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Ernest D Moritz; her children, Jane Erin Moritz and Michael Caldwell Moritz (Kelly Moritz); her grandchildren, Noah Ernest Moritz and Chloe Belle Moritz; and her siblings, Katharine Foote Wilhelm (Ralph Wilhelm) of Indianapolis, IN and John H. Foote (Kristen Rupert) of Watertown, MA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Orange Congregational Church (205 Meetinghouse Ln, Orange, CT 06477). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
