Though Frances may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony M. "Sonny" Marchitto; her son Mark M. Marchitto; and her sister Peggy. She is survived by: her children, Claudia Sisson of West Haven, Gina Marchitto of West Haven and Carl V. Marchitto (Estelle) of Orange; her daughter-in-law Colleen Marchitto of West Hartford; and her sisters, Lucille Zemke of Hamden and Philomena Blakeslee of Orange. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
