Gina Marie Cimminello Esposito Obituary
Gina Marie Cimminello Esposito, 59, of Orange, died on June 13, 2026 at Yale- New Haven. Born in Norwalk, she was the granddaughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Louis Cimminello and the late Mr. & Mrs. Chick Ciccarelli, and also predeceased by her fiancé, Mark Odell.
She is survived by her son Brayden Esposito, parents James and Angela (Ciccarelli) Cimminello, sister Sue Ann Cimminello, aunts and uncles: Delores and Andrew Bovee, Holly and Doug Esposito, Ray and Lori Esposito, nephew Juan and nieces Shay, Jamie and Julie and the father of her son, Jeff, as well as her pets Uma and Roxi.
After earning her master's degree in education, Gina dedicated her professional life to serving children and families. She spent 12 years with Highland County Community Action Organization in Ohio as Director of Enrollment, where her compassion, leadership, and commitment positively impacted countless lives. She later joined The Goddard School as Office Administrator, a role she held for the past nine years. Gina was deeply respected for her caring nature, strong work ethic, and the meaningful relationships she cultivated with colleagues, students, and families. Her dedication to helping others and her ability to make everyone feel welcome left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
Gina was an avid sports fan who passionately cheered for the Detroit Lions, New York Mets, and New York Rangers. She enjoyed attending concerts and shows, traveling, and spending quality time at home with her family.
Gina took great pride in supporting her son throughout his wrestling career and was his biggest fan. She never missed a match and celebrated every achievement with unwavering love and enthusiasm.
Known for her vibrant personality and infectious spirit, Gina was truly the life of the party wherever she went. She was actively involved with her high school Class of 1984 alumni community and treasured the lifelong friendships she maintained over the years. Her warmth, laughter, and devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held privately, with burial in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
