As Joan Frances departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan Frances may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan Frances leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Martin and Irene Martin. She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Zolla (Mark) of Duxbury, Kim Penwell (Steve) of Westport and Lee Wilson (Peter) of New Fairfield, Connecticut.; and her grandchildren, Trevor, Alexander, Bryan, Hope and Victoria.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joan's memory to the Orange Congregational Church Music Program (https://orangecongregationalchurch.org), The National Audubon Society, or the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Research, reflecting Joan's compassionate spirit.
