He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Pizzi and Philomena Pizzi (Fannie). He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Pizzi; his sons, John Pizzi, Jr., Christopher Pizzi (Heather) and Gregg Pizzi; and his grandchildren, Blake, Cooper, Brigid and Enzo.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477). A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Orange Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Arbor Day Foundation's Memorial and Honor Trees program.
