He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Hawkins of Milford; and his brother Rich Hawkins of Colorado. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hawkins (Hoddinott); his children, Lisa Hawkins and Eric Hawkins (Denise); and his grandchildren, Katie Barretta, Emily Barretta, Chloe Hawkins and Taylor Hawkins.
