She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Prete; her parents, Anthony Zumbo and Natalie Fiore; and her siblings, Samuel Zumbo and Josephine Murdocco.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth R. Prete (Peter Hentschel) and Neil J. Prete (Alicia); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Lindsay), Kayla (Jeff), Zachary and Alecsander; her great grandchildren, Penelope, Piper and Mila; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Hentschel (Merideth) and Samantha Pinckney (Scott); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Alex and Gabriella; and her sister Jennifer McCracken.
