He is survived by: his wife Dolores Blenderman Palmatier; his sons, William Francis Palmatier, Bruce Thomas Palmatier, Jr. and Jason Robert Palmatier; his daughters-in-law, Mari, Kimberly and Tracy; and his siblings, Robert, Leslie and Barbara. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpino Funeral Home (750 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at the West Point Post Cemetery at the U. S. Military Academy.
