He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Francis Egan Sr. and Theresa Egan (Gaetano); and his brother Richard Egan. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Egan; his siblings, Michael Egan (Joanne), John Egan (Diane) and Mary Nebesny (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Gerald Tomanio (Jan), Paul Tomanio, Jane Salvitti (Steve) and Sara Tomanio; his nieces and nephews, David Nebesny, John Egan, Paul Egan, Marissa Salvitti, Melissa Brehm, Elizabeth Vicidomino, Lindsay Babbitt and Courtney Hill; and his pet Abby.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home (253 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (733 Oxford Rd, Oxford, CT 06478). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Mt. St. Peter Cemetery (219 New Haven Ave, Derby, CT 06418).
