Though Gwen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Sommers and Dorothy Sommers; her husband Wayne Hendrix; her stepson Jonathan (Karin); and her siblings, Joseph Sommers III (Beth), Donna Sommers and Claire Loerch.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home (399 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Lawncroft Cemetery.
