He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Chicoski and Stephanie Chicoski (Wisneski); his sister Elizabeth Holloway; and his son-in-law Richard L. Clark Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Wallace); his children, Joseph Chicoski (Allyson), Karen Clark of Oxford and Kristine Nemec (Michael) of Beacon Falls; his grandchildren, Justin Hilton (Rachael), Nathanial Hilton (Amanda), Jacob Nemec, Richard Clark III, Katie Azizi (Mehdi), Ryan Chicoski, Ethan Chicoski, Adam Chicoski, Nicole Nemec and Matthew Chicoski; his great grandchildren, Ava, Landon, Evelyn, Hailey and Lennon; and his brothers, Raymond and Robert Chicoski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joe's name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, or to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford.
