He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clement Robert Ploof and Bernice Glenna Monteith; his wife Veronica (Thompson); and his children, Robert, Jeanette and Kimberly. He was also cherished by his nine grandchildren, his extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl St, Mystic, CT 06355). A reception will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
