He is survived by: his parents, Lars Carlson and Dawn Carlson of Escondido, CA; his wife Katie Roy; his son Nicolas of Pawcatuck, CT.; his sister Vanessa M.; his brother-in-law Shaun of Escondido, CA; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Vanessa K.; his nephew Turner of Santee, CA.; and his in-laws, James and Geraldine Roy of Stonington, CT..
