She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Preston Tillinghast; her parents, Paul B. Ure and Grace Ure; and her sisters, Lynda Paulette and Valerie Estelle.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Canny (Danny) of Westerly, Kim Tillinghast of Westerly and Jason Tillinghast of Westerly. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
