With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Campbell Exley (Plainfield, Connecticut), who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Exley and Ellen Exley (Campbell); and his sister Eleanor Desjardins. He is survived by : his wife Marie Exley (Wood); his children, Albert Exley (Heidi), Janet Exley, Judy Exley, Jill Exley (Steve Gilman) and Jane Eaton (Richard); his sisters, Doris Desjardins, Flora White (Ed) and Mildred Morrill (Everett); his grandchildren, Danielle Blocker, Stacy Ross, Sarah Exley, Brook Alton Price, Seth St. Jean, Shelly Cameron, Quinn Renaud, Melanie Exley, Alan Campbell Exley, Parker Franklin, Collin Renaud, Dale Exley Eaton, Mariena Eaton and Richelle Eaton; and his great grandchildren, Aliya Blocker, Gibson Ross, Joelle St. Jean, Cole St. Jean and Ashton Exley.

“We are so sorry for your loss , our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Alton will be sorely missed by all. He drove school bus for Dave and Chris and Jess , two generations of Hart children. Many wonderful memories of a great guy. Rest in Peace Mr.Exley”
