With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Joan Dufort (Plainfield, Connecticut), born in Short Hills, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Theresa and Thomas Smith. She is survived by : her husband Doctor Robert T. Dufort; and her children, Patricia Ng (Michael), Thomas Dufort (Christine), Stephen Dufort (Cathy) and Catherine Kuiper (Jason). She is also survived by companion to her husband and children.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Jo´s memory can be made to local animal support centers or to a local Alzheimers Association.
