She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow Munroe and Abbie Munroe (Weeks) of South Chatham, NH.; her husband Edward M. Ames of Plainfield, CT; her sister Sunya Pitman (Munroe); and her brothers-in-law, William Pitman and George Irish.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Shannon McKeen (Karen Bartoletti) of Winston-Salem, NC, Patrick McKeen (Morgan Carothers) of Somerville, MA and Anna McKeen of Winston-Salem, NC; her children, Nathan McKeen (Jane), Brooke, Morgan of Weathersfield, VT, Amy Merchant (Scott), Abigail and Sarah of Griswold, CT.; and her sister Wanda Irish (Munroe) of Conway, NH. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins (especially the Fernalds), extended family, special friends.
