With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard B Marriott Jr. (Plainfield, Connecticut), born in Oneco, Connecticut, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his brother George Marriott. He is survived by: his children, Jessie, Rusty Keppen of Plainfield, Daniel, Darlene Marriott of Westerly, Richard and Grace Marriott of Northford; his grandchildren, Brandi, Spencer Glover, Jason Aubin, Stephanie, Martin Dambreville, Anthony, Alaina Marriott, Teresa and Michael Bobar; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Jazmine Dambreville; and his half-brother Kenneth Marriott of Maine.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home (595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT 06374). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the All Hallows Church (126 Prospect St, Moosup, CT 06354).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Richard's memory be made to the Plainfield Senior Center, 482 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT or Sterling Senior Center, 1183 Plainfield Pike, Oneco, CT.
