She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Triano and Florence Triano (DellaVecchia); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Hawke-Petit; her granddaughters, Hayley Elizabeth Petit and Michaela Rose Petit; and her son-in-law Dennis Chapman.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Dr. William Petit, Jr. (Christine), Glenn Petit, Michael Petit (Erin), Brian Petit and Johanna Chapman-Antigiovanni (Peter); her grandchildren, Rachel (Dave), Alicia, Abby (Lucian), Brooke, Andrew (Sam), Michael, Tristan, Paige and William III; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Molly, Enzo, Stella and Lucia Barbara; and her siblings, Johanna Ierna (Joe), Frank Triano (Emily) and Andrea LaChapelle (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plainville Funeral Home (81 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (94 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062).
