He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Ruta (Johnson) of Kensington; his daughter Kara Ruta of Bristol; his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Ruta (Jennifer) of Durham, NC, Mary Fiske (Craig) of Laguna Neguel, CA and Robin Rubin (Jeffrey) of Essex, MA; and his grandsons, Austin Ruta and Christian Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
