We announce the death of James Thomas McAuliffe of Plainville, Connecticut, who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 69. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. James will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. James’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Joseph and Barbara (Skewes) McAuliffe; partner: Teresa Conceico; sister: Kathleen McAuliffe; brother: Kevin McAuliffe (Kim); nephew/niece/extended family: Carolyn Coogan, Josh, Justin and Daniel McAuliffe; stepson: Alan Conceico (Meredith); and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Plainville Funeral Home (81 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
