Joan D. Stebbins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan D. Stebbins of Plainville, Connecticut, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Stebbins III and Lillian Stebbins (Whitman); and her siblings, Richard Stebbins, Ruth Lockshire and Ellen Kirschner.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Stebbins of Plainville; and her brother David Stebbins of South Windsor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
