He was predeceased by: his wife Martha "Marty" Soucie (Cyr); his sons, Gary James Soucie, Wayne Soucie and Bruce Henry Soucie; and his parents, Willie H. Soucie and Gertrude Soucie (Ouellette).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Hanna and Lyvia; and his great grandchild Jayden. He is also survived by many extended family members, including in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Plainville Funeral Home (81 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (94 Broad St, Plainville, CT 06062).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Parish in support of the Knights of Columbus Council 3544, an organization that held a special place in Malcolm's heart and reflected his lifelong commitment to faith, fellowship, and service to others.
