She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Deshaies and Elizabeth Deshaies (Beaulieu) of New Britain, CT; and her brother Joseph Richard Deshaies. She is survived by: her husband Robert Berube; her children, Robert F. Berube (Birgit Berube), Annemarie Berube Sundgren (George Clark III), Rachel Berube Beckwith (Brian Beckwith), Diana Berube (Brian Coffey) and Michael Berube; her sister Janet Bertelsen; and her nephews, Tommy and Steven Bertelsen. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
