He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth M. "Betty" Salamon (Kelly); and his parents, Anthony Salamon and Agnes Salamon (Gostyla). He is survived by: his children, Wendy Caruso (James) of Plainville and Walter Salamon, Jr. (Patricia Ferrier) of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Jones, Pamela Caruso, David Caruso and Nicole Caruso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
