With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Lou Vignali (Pleasant Valley, Connecticut). Betty, born on August 24, 1938, passed away on July 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Peterson and Lucille Peterson (Mutterer); her husband Charlie Vignali; and her sister Marilyn Swenson. She is survived by: her children, Steven Ford, Debbie Hirabai, Karen Carvalho (Rui) of New Hartford and Jim Ford (Andrea Pearson-Hurst); her stepchildren, Cherie Kobren (Michael) and Glen Ford; and her grandchildren, Adam Carvalho (Megan) and Chrissy Carvalho (Matthew Pivarnik). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, PO Box 181, Pleasant Valley, CT 06063.
