He was predeceased by: his parents, Floran Boland and Stella Boland. He is survived by: his wife Susan Preston Boland; his children, Daniel Boland (Meeok Kim) of Cambridge, MA, Vanessa Boland Edouard (Arps) of Quincy, MA and S. Micaela Maines (Matthew) of Woodstock, CT.; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Theodore, Russell, Simon and Juliette; and his siblings, Floran Boland (late Virginia) of West Hartford, CT and Maureen Cooper (Johann) of Willington, CT..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home (148 Grove St, Putnam, CT 06260).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to UNICEF, Last Green Valley, or Day Kimball Hospital.
