He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernet Salinsky and Hazel Salinsky (Lee); his friend UConn; his wife Connie (Pretronaci); his brother-in-law Ronnie; and his brothers, Brent Salinsky, Gary Salinsky, Jeff Salinsky (Annie), William Salinsky (Kathy) and Stanley Salinsky.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Starr (John) of East Hampton and Andrea Baldyga (Stephen) of Colchester; his grandchildren, Victoria Baldyga of Colchester, Sean Baldyga of Colchester, Madison Starr of East Hampton and Jessica Starr of East Hampton; and his sister Lyn Wood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Church (3 Elm St, Middletown, CT 06457). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
